So Much Good News!!!!

Last week was such an amazing week! I don't even know where to begin!!!!

I got a message on myspace early in the week from someone and it turns out that this message led to a reunion between my cousin and her son that she gave up for adoption when she was a teenager!!! This was so amazing and showed me how God truly fulfills his promises! You see I had my cousin on my friend's list under her maiden name. It was an old profile of hers that we both forgot about and I was the only friend listed on this forgotten page. Her son saw this in his search and contacted me to see if it was possible that this was the same woman as his birth mother who he had been searching for. Something "forgotten" led this to happen! But God did not forget and that is how He led this family back together!

My cousin had been yearning to find her "baby" and now this week she will physically be reunited with him. I cannot find the words to express my joy at this wonderful and blessed news. My cousin is such a wonderful woman and so faithful. She never gave up on me finding my way back to the Lord and I am so grateful that she is in my life.

I also want to congratulate my cousin Ramon and his wife Iris because they just found out they are going to be parents!!! I am so happy and excited for them!

Julia started 2nd grade last week and Joey got a job (sorta...) Joey is working at a gym in Manhattan on a temporary basis but it looks like they are trying to find something more permanent for him.

In the "my baby boy is growing up to fast deparment": Joey Jr. slept in his big boy bed last night!!! My camera is broken so I didn't get any pictures but he looked so cute in his little bed! Next step is to get Joshua a toddler bed too so he can sleep like a big boy! Time is going by too fast!

Taking off Together Tuesday #13

I did not get to report in for Taking it off Together Tuesday because I had a horrible cold all week and didn't have the energy to go to my Mom's to weigh myself. I have a feeling I may have gained because my jeans are feeling a little tight :( However I did try on a pair of Joey's jeans that I used to wear post-pregnancy and I am happy to say that they were way to loose for me to wear! Sooooooooooo I have come a long way!

Last week we announced a contest where everyone who reported a LOSS had their name added to a drawing for a lot of 100 Mary Kay samples! The motivation worked! Nearly everyone reported a loss this week. So we will have the same contest this week. Just remember that maintaining doesn't count, sorry!
