Internet issues!

I have not been able to post in a few days due to some internet problems! Finally got a "new" router today thanks to my wonderful brother who gave me his old one! He purchased a new router this week. It was perfect timing because my little men destroyed our router. They knocked it off the desk one too many times and it broke out of the casing! The joys of having two very active, curious and sometimes destructive toddlers!

Happy Earth Day

Our Creator did an amazing thing when he created the earth we live in. What a shame that we have marred his beautiful creation with so much pollution and waste!

Living in NYC, I don't really get to see the wonders of nature and appreciate it's beauty. When Julia was 3 we took our 1st big family vacation to Puerto Rico and we got to witness the beauty of creation! We saw such breathtaking sights of nature's awe inspiring beauty when we went to El Yunque, a rain forest in PR and to the Caves in Camuy. What wondrous examples of God's love for us that he created beautiful trees, flowers and animals for us to see! It's too bad that we can't see sights like that everyday because we live in big cities.... Below are pics we took on our trip:

Little High Fives

Did you know that it was National High Five day on April 17th (it's held the 3rd Thurday in April every year)?? I had no clue until my Dad told me last week that it was National High Five day! Well it was a few days past the national day, but last night the boys learned to high-five each other! It was so cute seeing them do it over and over again. Joshua's eyes were sparkling and Jr. laughed every-time he slapped his little brother's raised hand. Joshua kept holding up his hand and waiting in anticipation for his big brother to do it over and over again. It was a nice moment because it showed that they are learning to really interact and cooperate with one another. I love when they have moments like that together. It's like when Jr. kisses or pats Joshua on the top of the head. I just melt!

Having my little men so close in age and seeing them discover new things together is so much fun! They still don't really talk much but they have their own way of communicating with each other. This morning when they woke up they started giving each other high fives again! They are developing such a cute relationship and it's nice to see them growing in brotherhood. I hope the bond between keeps getting stronger. I know they are only 2 and 1 years old but I would like to think that they will always be close and hope that besides being brothers, they will be good friends! I know I'll see them doing a lot more high fiving of each other in the future as they do more and more things together as brothers and friends :)

My Little Monkey

So my little man, Jr., scared me so badly the other day! I heard this piercing, gut wrenching scream while I was doing the dishes. I ran in the direction of the wail to hear Julia screaming about how Jr. climbed all the way to the top of both window guards! Yes, we have two window guards on each window to prevent the boys from climbing up and yet Jr. still managed to do it! Thank God he climbed down on his own (and didn't fall) before I saw him with my own eyes and freaked out. Hubby happened to be outside at the time to witness the little monkey's feat.

It is crazy to me how active Jr. and Joshua are! Julia never climbed on anything. She is never still but climbing and jumping off stuff is not her thing. The boys on the other hand, find new ways to give me a heart-attack every day! I don't know how I have not lost 20 pounds yet since I spend most of my day chasing these little daredevils around all day!
