It's time for 5 Minutes for Mom's Ultimate Blog Party (UBP ). This is my first time participating so please be patient with me as I try to figure out what I am doing ;)
For those who are visiting my little spot on the web for the first time my name is Jessie. I am a Mom to three. I have a 7-year old diva named Julia and two little sports fanatics named Joey Jr., 3yrs old and Joshua, 2 yrs old. My boy are a year and a day apart. Their birthdays were this week! We live in Brooklyn, NY with my hubby Joey who is a lifeguard! Yes, that is his full time job. He works at a pool in a luxury building in NYC. Pretty cool! Me and hubby will mark our 9th wedding anniversary in December.
If you hadn't noticed we all have J names- hence the family nickname the J-Crew ;) Right now I am a stay at home mom to the J-Crew. I used to work in publishing until having my boys back to back. Now I enjoy playing with my babies (especially on the Wii), writing, blogging and networking via the wonderful world wide web! I am also trying my hand at being a Mary Kay beauty consultant but I haven't yet got the hang of being a great sales woman, but give me some time!
If you want to find me around the web, I am on facebook, twitter and myspace. You can find the links on my sidebar!

Today is my Joey Jr.'s birthday! He turns 3 today :)
Jr. loves sports, cars and chocolate. He likes to play baseball, pretend to box, and play Wii sports. Always jumping around and making goofy faces, he brings a lot of joy to our lives. I am so happy to have my little boy around to jump around and play with!

Happy Birthday Joshua!
St. Patricks Day Comments
Today my little Joshua turns 2 years old! I can't believe that he is a two year old already :) On Saturday we are
going to have a party for him, Jr.(3/18) and Joey (3/21). We did have some chocolate cake today. They loved it. My parents surprised me with the cake for the boys. After dinner me and Julia sang happy birthday to both boys and then they were in chocolate heaven. I swear Jr. ate his slice of cake in one bite. He actually managed to balance the whole piece on his spoon and he devoured it in seconds!!!
I had always wanted to have two kids so when I had Jr. in 2006 I thought I was done. I figured I had my boy and my girl and I was complete. Well God had other plans for me! A few months after having Jr. I found out I was pregnant again and that my new bundle of Joey was due on his birthday! I was going to have Irish twins!!! Well Joshua came the day before Jr.'s first birthday and on St. Patrick's Day to top it all off!!! So my boys are almost exactly a year apart. At times I want to tear all my hair out because they are active little boys but honestly I wouldn't have it any other way. They are my joys!!! Joshua has this smile that lights up the room. He is a little ham and loves to pose for the camera like his sister. I can't imagine my life without him or any of my kids!
Happy birthday Joshua! Mommy loves you!!!
Stayed tuned tomorrow for Joey Jr.'s birthday post :)

2 truths and a lie- Revealed
As part of the Daisy Chain blog tour, I am playing the 2 Truths and 1 Lie game. So today is the day that I reveal my lie!
To recap this is the list I posted:
I met my husband at the Puerto Rican Day Parade
I used to sing for my church's youth choir
I am the oldest of five kids
My lie is "I used to sing for my church's youth choir." I am a really bad singer and was very shy when I was young. So I did not sing for the church youth choir!
I did meet my hubby at the Puerto Rican Day parade. I have posted about our meeting before. I am the oldest of 5 kids! I have 3 younger brothers and 1 younger sister.
