My boys get into a lot of mischief. The other day hubby came home to play with his Playstation 3 (he is a huge SOCOM fanatic and just got the new game a few days ago) and when he went to put in his game a very nasty, grating sound came out of the PS3. I cringed because I knew I would get the blame when that horrible sound came out of his beloved machine. And sure enough I did get the blame :( It turns out our little guys thought the PS3 was a piggy bank and they were inserting coins into it!!!
Thankfully we were able to get all the coins out but I had a moment of panic thinking that this $300 piece of gaming system would permanently be a slot machine instead of hubby's diversion. I think we all learned a lesson and now the PS3 is up high were the little hands of my munchkins cannot be tempted to insert various objects into it.
This whole incident reminded me of my sister and how she used to insert her play dishes into my Dad's brand new VCR!!! Slots and babies are not a good mix!!!!

Oh my, that doesn't sound good at all. So glad you got it fixed, but a slot machine in the house would be cool too...
I found you through Dream, Imagine, Live
LOL! I am so relieved that it was fixed. I had visions of many silent nights in my future (that may not have been such a bad thing come to think of it!) But all is well for now until my little men decide to repurpose something else in the house...
Oh man...that sounds like my son. He likes to stick things down the heat registers. Always fun times digging down there. Thank God the machine still works.
It's a bad bad thing when Dad's toys get messed up! Glad you were able to save it!
LMAO!!!!! I could just imagine if that had been Marc, oh Lord have mercy!! I am glad though that you were able to get the coins out. As a wife with a playstation 3 junkie in the house, I know first hand what you had to go through! Love you girl!!
Keli, It's so not a good thing! We are now putting the Ps3 up high away from the little hands!
Chris, girl you know how grateful I was that we were able to fix that thing! I said a little prayer as he opened it up lol!
I would have been praying and running right out the dooor! LOL But yeah, I know how it is with the PS3 and MEN!! Are they really men when they spend time with that thing?? LOL
