This week I am still at 186.1 so no change this week. My household was hit by the flu so I wasn't able to do much this week. I had the flu last week and then the boys and hubby got it. So between recovering and taking care of my 3 boys there wasn't time to squeeze in working out or do any food journaling!
Good luck everyone! If you want to join us please visit http://oneweighatatime.com/ !

Thankful Thursday- Prayer
This week's theme is prayer. Prayer is such a powerful tool in our walk with God. I am thankful that I can:
1. Praise God through prayer
2. Give my problems over to God in prayer
3. Come before God in prayer for my loved ones
4. Pray for forgiveness
5. Pray with others to raise a collective voice to God in worship or in times of need
6. Pray with my children before bedtime
7. Pray for our leaders
Our new President was inaugurated this week so take time to pray for President Obama and his family.
For more Thankful Thursdays visit Lori's Reflections, she is the guest host for Grace Alone this week.

Delay is Not Denial
I was trying to watch an episode of TBN's "Praise the Lord" online yesterday. My computer kept freezing during my attempt but one of the guests on the show was giving their testimony and said something that stuck with me, "Delay is not Denial". Those words have struck a chord with me!
I have been feeling stuck because I want to write but can never find the time to do it. I also want to study for this test to get my certification to teach but every time I sit down with the book something happens and I have to stop. I find myself getting frustrated because I feel like things are not happening fast enough.I knew the Lord was speaking to me when I heard those words, "Delay is not Denial".. I need to be more patient. Just because things are not happening in my timetable does not mean they are not going to happen!
This reminder came at the perfect time. I just have to remember that God's promises will come true in His time. Things may be delayed but it doesn't mean they won't happen. God is not saying No, He is just saying wait. So from now on I will remember these words whenever I start to feel frustrated with myself... "Delay is Not Denial!"
