The PS3 is NOT a....

My boys get into a lot of mischief. The other day hubby came home to play with his Playstation 3 (he is a huge SOCOM fanatic and just got the new game a few days ago) and when he went to put in his game a very nasty, grating sound came out of the PS3. I cringed because I knew I would get the blame when that horrible sound came out of his beloved machine. And sure enough I did get the blame :( It turns out our little guys thought the PS3 was a piggy bank and they were inserting coins into it!!!

Thankfully we were able to get all the coins out but I had a moment of panic thinking that this $300 piece of gaming system would permanently be a slot machine instead of hubby's diversion. I think we all learned a lesson and now the PS3 is up high were the little hands of my munchkins cannot be tempted to insert various objects into it.

This whole incident reminded me of my sister and how she used to insert her play dishes into my Dad's brand new VCR!!! Slots and babies are not a good mix!!!!

Tuesday Toot and Tackle it Tuesday

So today I was not able to tackle much! I have the bad cold that Joey and Jr. had last week. I feel so miserable. I tried sweeping and mopping but I think I made myself feel worse. So I guess my "toot" is that I got out of bed today even though my head is pounding, my throat is scratchy and my nose is so stuffed up that I can't smell a thing!


I also did not get to weigh myself for taking it off together tuesday. So hopefully next week I'll be feeling better and will be able to get more accomplished!

I've been a busy bee...

I didn't have time to really blog last week. I didn't get to do any of the memes I've been participating in , so I apologize!!! 

Joey got really sick last week and then Jr. got sick (they are both still getting over their bad colds...) All this happened while I was trying to get everything ready for my Mary Kay holiday party that I held on Saturday at my Mom's house. But I got everything done and had a fun, succesful party!

That Saturday my little man, Joshua, was crying because he knew I was leaving the house. Jr. came to him and wiped the tears off his face! Even though Jr. was sick he still came to take care of his little brother when he was sad. I found that so sweet and touching! 

Julia was my little helper at the party. She practically took over the whole thing and everyone loved her outgoing personality! My Mom even said I didn't have to do much because Julia was such a good little sales person.

I'm hoping to be able to blog more this week . I have a blog tour that I am hoping to participate in and a few other things that I think might be cool for this blog.
