I'm upset that I did not get to go to a Mets game this year!!! It's been a long and crazy season but I have to thank this stadium for all the memories!!! Who can forget the little dribbler down the first base line that got by Buckner!!!??? Who can forget Mike's homerun and Liza singing "New York, New York" at the 1st game back after 9/11... I still gives me goosebumps and tears in my eyes! I'm watching the game right now and things don't look to good for our chances at post season play again but this team is still in heart! If any team knows how to pull off a miracle it's the NY Mets. Can't wait to make new memories at Citifield!!!

I am not a huge baseball fan - I like it well enough but I am Canadian and "our" sport of course is hockey.... I so love how New York is about baseball though.... I love hearing about the fans and the games and watching the movies and all of that.... cheers to your passion!!
ReplyDeleteHey girl - looks like you definitelly love baseball! :) I think my hubby wishes I were... I just get my head stuck in a book most times - lol.
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, wanted to invite you to drop by the crib when you get a chance, k? I've got somethin' for ya =)
Thanks Jamie! I've been a fan since I was little :)
ReplyDeleteHi Dette! My hubby is a Yankee fan so we are always "at war" during baseball season but it's all in good fun! I am such a tomboy. Now it's time to focus on football season since neither NY baseball team is in the postseason :(
Oh and thank you so much for what you left me at your crib!!! That was really sweet!
